Task and Finish Group

Our Task & Finish groups are sub-sections of the Community Council Group. Usually, 2 or more Councillors form a group to concentrate on one task, or small project. The tasks are then reported back to the next Council Meeting for approval of any actions.

A tender has been awarded to a company to paint and clear grass from the red benches in the village.

A meeting is to be held with the Yacht club to discuss the Yacht Club and beach areas.

It was agreed at the above meeting that a liaison group between the Yacht Club and the Community Council would be convened. Awaiting a date from the Yacht club for a first meeting.

The Clerk is trying to ascertain the ownership of the triangle of land next to the wooden shed on the beach top. The Community Council would like to develop the land and make a garden and perhaps seating.

The Community Council has been discussing the clean up of the railway crossing with Griffiths Contractors. They have agreed to paint the railings and tidy the area up at some point in the future. We understand that Griffiths are also assisting with some school projects.
